Afternoon run/walk

Took a friend - who is a few weeks into her return to running - out for a jolly with Merlin and her dog today. Her guy doesn’t pull unless either she or I are in front of him, and even then only pulls enough to make the line tight - so I lent her Merlin to help her up the hills which had the added benefit of me really having to work to keep up!

We took a few more walk breaks than anticipated, plus a stop at the dew pond for the dogs, so 5.14k took us 55 minutes. But we had a lovely time and a good natter as we went 😊

Cute pups 😃. I did my first 'dog joffle' this morning (just graduated C25K so consolidation 'run') along a local disused railway track ... my boy was fantastic. It was a lot of fun for us both and we will certainly be doing it again soon.

Believe me, no 'running' was involved in the making of my morning outing 🐕🐌 🤣😂 but still amazingly good fun 😃

That sounds like lots of fun...nice to have some runs that aren't about speed but enjoyment.

Handy having a dog that pulls 😅, I could do with my very own Merlin for when the hills just feel too difficult 😉
