We did a nice gentle 5km last Sunday while getting myself into the right frame of mind to start this plan again. Then off we went.... 5.5km on Tuesday, and a faster 3km tonight. I know now it was only supposed to be 2.5km but when I set out I couldn’t remember how far I was meant to go and also hadn’t really planned a route.....
The running is feeling pretty good so far, better than it has for a while. Long may this continue, I’m looking forward to doing 6km sometime over the weekend. Hope everyone else is getting on ok too.

That’s impressive, we are running the timed version, 30 minutes Sunday, 15 minutes wednesday, that felt odd i felt we came home too soon but it was fast for us, we may run 35 minutes after work friday or leave it til Saturday as i’m not working this weekend then back to 30 minutes either Sunday or Monday, I’m looking forward to the longer runs
It does seem strange doesn’t it. This is my second time doing the plan and I really struggled with the shorter runs last time to begin with too. It’s quite a mental battle, getting used to the fact that just because you can now run for 30 minutes doesn’t mean you have to every time.
That’s it exactly i had worked out we would run 35 minutes yesterday and give some time to sit after work then once traffic eased we would go to the sea front for a run, Willow had different ideas and hustled me into running clothes and out the door within minutes of getting home for a short sharp run round the park before it got. completely dark, the whole thing was a bit of a shock to the system and i was back home before my cup of tea was cold lol
