And my goodness, it felt good! 😎 First sun around here for what feels like ages, so sharp out the door this morning in case weathermonger changed the plan. Risked the field path, and it wasn’t too bad in spite of yesterday’s storms - some slimy mud and a few branches on the ground, but the reward is views across the hilly bits and trees now in good colour as I went round the common at the far end. Stuck in an extra loop, and 9k ticked off the list. 😄 Happy running to you all (and happy sprinting to the gazelles - you know who you are!)

Yes and I’m wary as the worst section is on a hill, where all of us skirting the cropland have created a smooth path on clay. Add rain, and you get a slithery surface that an otter would love! Going up isn’t too bad, but I walk down with my fingers crossed as well.
