Oops, embarrassing to write I've dropped off, just lost the time, got tired, behind at least 2 weeks...feeling deflated...
All I can do is start again? Or should I do a few weeks of 30 min runs before getting back on a plan again?

You should not have lost too much fitness in 2 weeks. Go out for a nice relaxed 5K and see how that goes. Then start working back towards where you left off. Certainly don’t be deflated. Life gets in the way sometimes. You just have to work around it.

Hi Ricochet1 ...I'm sure you wont have lost much fitness in 2 weeks, not at all...and if you can run for 30 mins, I'd do just that and then gradually work your way up again? Do what ever feels right for you...but please don't feel deflated...it is hard finding time for a run, it's not just a run is it? its the shower etc that you have to do afterwards...a whole morning can just disappear if its a long run, just like that, whoosh...you'll be back on track before you know it
Don't panic... firstly just get back out there! No pressure, just run, then see how it feels 😁👍🏻
Thanks all for replies, of course you're right, and I'm in no rush, will be kinder to myself! I will jump back in the saddle tonight!
I had to take 5 -6 weeks off in the summer due to decorating 🤣 and had similar concerns. I started with a 20 min slow jog and gradually built up. Really surprising how the body adapts, I had to remember about hydration again but that was easy. Keep going 😎
Just get out there with no pressure for now. Its soo easily done I know Ives missed weeks before when everything is just too much
