Tummy troubles

Hi this is my first post on here. I’ve been running since April, completed Couch25K in early July. Since then I’ve done 4 park runs and my PB is 30.33. I’m delighted with my progress and generally loving this running lark. BUT, I have one problem , on occasions my stomach gets very upset. I’ve never seen any posts talking about this, is it only me?😩 I am a middle aged lady (54yrs) and I am getting a bit paranoid about this, as I’ve had a couple of runs where I’ve literally had to bolt home, or disaster would have struck!!! Does anyone have a similar problem? Advise would be very welcome.

Thank you I will read the link. I’m beginning to worry about doing Park runs incase it happens. Good to know I’m not alone !

It’s a real problem isn’t it. I worry like mad before each Park Run. So far it hasn’t happened, so fingers crossed it never will.

I have had similar issues in the past, and always now try to run on ‘empty’: I am learning the gentle art of evacuating on command!!

That really made me laugh, but very good advice I think. I love your terminology!
