I posted last week about walking the course with the tailrunner (it’s 2 circuits) and discovering the hill isn’t the horror I’d built it up to be in my head. I’d run it 6 times but given in and walked part of the hill on 5 of those. With a renewed C25K positive approach this week I took over half a minute off my PB. Don’t ever underestimate the power of your head. 🧠

Congrats on defeating those gremlins. gremlins. You deserve that PB by HALF A MINUTE!
I have a bit like that on my 5k run, it's a nice river run that all of a sudden goes up a hill and through a carpark before carrying on back along the river...I HAVE to mentally see myself running through there before I get there or it's a real struggle.
