So, thank you bluebirdrunner for the advice to consider juju magic plan. Woke with a heavy heart at the thought of another 64 minutes interval run today on my current plan. Couldn’t face it. So I looked at the magic plan and jumped on at 20,30,50 runs. Felt utterly invigorated immediately and really enjoyed my run. Felt strong and fast and comfortable. I see now the difference in pace on short and longer runs. Look at my pace today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though fully aware need to slow down for longer runs, am actually looking forward to my 30 min run on Thursday now! I LOVE this forum. ❤️

Fantastic...thats great to hear madmother.😊

I found 3 long runs a week too much when I was doing Sammi Murphy's plan.

Good luck completing Ju Ju's Magic 10, and being ready for that Wolf run!😊xx

Hi I’ve been using C25K forum and have only just found this Bridge to 10K thanks to reading your post madmother 👍. I’ve been using 10K app (a red one?) and am up to 17 mins run 1 min walk x 3, but it takes such a chunk of time 🤦‍♀️ Yesterday I covered 7.4 k in the time, so I’m slow but steady! Problem is the programme has got me used to walking for the minute interval and now my body wants to do that even on shorter distances. Might try the juju programme but need to work out how to set my phone to distance instead of just using the app 😩 Sorry bit of a ramble!

I’ve jumped on to jujus plan on week 4. My C25k app glitches on every run except the last week 9. So, for my short runs I listen to sarah and then am doing the other app for my long run and leaving the interval in.

It just became too much for me, mentally. It was a burden to have to go on a certain circuit for such a long time. I’ve enjoyed my shorter runs this week and have my 3x 17 min runs for Sunday. Mentally I know what you mean, but I offset those thoughts by using my C25k and remembering back to how hard it was and how much better it feels now? Good luck! X

Thank you! It’s on Sunday. I’ve just done a short 3m run and then some walks this week. I’m making some of the flapjacks I’ve seen on here! Lol 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
