Started Ju Ju’s magic plan and only on week 1. Ran 5k on Friday then 5.5k on Mon so tonight it was only 2.5k. Found it a real struggle!!! Don’t know if it was because my legs were already feeling really achy and heavy after Body Pump yesterday. I try to fit in three gym sessions each week along with my runs. I was so relieved to stop tonight and my legs felt ‘locked’ when I did. Feeling frustrated as I thought a 2.5k would have been easy. How wrong I was! 😡

Hi Cally. Some runs are just better than others and it’s best just to keep at it rather than get disheartened. Obvious stuff, but are you drinking plenty of water the day before each run?

If you’re doing 3 hard gym sessions a week in addition to the magic plan, I reckon that’s a bit too much. Your legs apparently agree with me 😀

Hi Cally, roughly how long did it take you to do the 2.5k? Could it be that you hadn't quite hit your happy pace yet when it was time to end?
