Yes it is and also throughout the week I doing 10k training into my second week now and I'm loving it hopefully I might be running a 10k in November hopefully 😉
So happy for you buddy! You’re doing so well and it’s amazing sharing my running journey with you and love hearing your updates. I can only dream of being in that 30-32 mins range, but I’m slowly chipping away, week by week!
Thank you so much JaoJao that means a lot 🙏 I love putting updates on here we are here for each other on this forum and you will get there too the guy I talk to today took him 5 or 6 goes to improve his time it will come so you’re doing great too keep the great work up you’re doing fantastic 😉x
Great it’s nothing like C25K motivational but it’s designed by them you have to watch it at the very end it says walk for a min but keep running as it’s fibbing carry on running as when it says cool down that’s when you walk it caught me out 2 times not now I’m used to it 😉
No I don’t I run better having a break in between Monday gym after running Tuesday gym Wednesday running Thursday or Friday gym depending on what is on in the week Saturday parkrun 😉
What was your distance at the end of C25K? I only got to about 3.5k. I ran incredibly slowly. The only way I got to 5k was by doing Parkrun, but my pace is still 8:30-9:00/km.
That I don’t know as I’ve only just ordered my huawei band 3 pro running watch not coming till August so I’ve never known what the distance was as I didn’t know about any other apps for that but I know I going the full on my parkrun which I absolutely love 😉
This is so great to hear and has given me new motivation. After a lapse in running I am now back on track for the past 2 weeks but finding it a challenge to get beyond 5k. I know it will get easier. It was my goal to get to 10k by my 65th birthday in mid September. Given my utter lack of fitness when I started running in February I am still amazed that I have got this far. Thanks for inspiring me!
Wow, that's an amazing goal! Are you following a plan? I struggled last year to get beyond 5K but this year I have got up to 8k so far and have signed up to the cardiff 10k in September, it finally feels achievable. I've been following jujus majic plan on here, it's really helped me. Good luck! 😁
Thank you I’m just using an app 10K app by zenlabs it’s working for me I’ve looked at jujus plan but I prefer longer running 😉 plus I also train at my gym 3 times a week and running 3 times a week and dieting so it’s good
Thank you I’m so glad it’s inspired you you’re doing great too like you say it really does get easier the more you run and don’t knock yourself at least you’re trying more than the person sat down on the couch lol 😂 keep it up my next run is Monday after my abs and leg workout in the gym 😉
Well done, I got a pb yesterday too, mine was 32.5. Can't remember my finishing position, there are over 700 at my local park run! Great stuff, well done nearly at 30mins!😀
