Monthly Quest target #3 achieved sort of ✅❓👍...... I said 2k @ 13kph might be 2*1k, and it turned out to be 4*500m within a 5k / 28 mins dreadmill intervals session.
But the view from the dreadmill was a bit better than the one in the gym in Southsea ......
And having followed the run with a “traditional afternoon tea” which put back at least three times anything the run had taken out🥪🥧🧁☕️, that’s about it for the day I reckon 🛌.

Much as I love Southsea... that view beats it! Maybe the afternoon tea was three times the calories, but I’d think 1/3 replacement, 1/3 fuel for the next run and 1/3 it’s just nice and I deserve it.

They’re pretty soul-destroying most of the time, but if you want to run at a specific pace for some reason,they do the job for you. And sometimes they’ve got air-conditioning 😀👍
At 31degrees for most of today, air conditioning would certainly be appreciated.

Great view! When we visited Madeira a few years ago the weather was so dire we had to light the wood burner in the apartment 🥶
Have you visited the golf club at the top of Funchal? The views are absolutely glorious.
Not seen anything of a golf club, but went up the cable car 🚡 to Monte, which was pretty spectacular 👍
We couldn’t use the cable car as the weather was so bad ☹️
