Another lurker coming out of shadows. I did write one post here a while ago when I was checking out options but it was the "salty sweat" post that finally made me feel like you weren't all scary 😁. Also many of you have been writing great "life after c25k posts", which have been very helpful.

I finished c25k 2 weeks ago and apart from a completely botched run this morning have been mostly enjoying consolidation.

One more week to go on consolidation and I will be pushing on to finally getting to 5k running (I get there including warm up and warm down, just need to run a bit longer inbetween).

Then I will start my journey, however long, to 10k.

Thanks

BIT

Welcome back backintime. Definitely no need to be scared of this forum, we discuss all sorts, not just personal best times and distances. I was here for months just joining in the banter with no desire to run to 10k. But with everyone’s support you discover you can do all sorts you wouldn’t have thought possible.

⚠️ we can ramble on a bit πŸ˜‚

Whoohoo! You'll fit right in then! No need to apologize. A (not so)few of us suffer from verbal diarrhea, but then you get to join us on our runs and adventures! Share away, please! We love it!

Ramble on....us?!? I have no idea what you're talking about, Dexy. My posts are super short and sweet, right Hidden ? No need for snacks and a bathroom break before reading the post πŸ˜‚. Ya, right 🀣🀣🀣. Even my replies are often long winded πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

You and I both Sask. I often start off a reply and try to keep it concise. Nah, that never works! As for my posts, well they’re downright ridiculous! πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Hi! πŸ‘‹ πŸ‘‹ πŸ‘‹ πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

No way are we scary! But I know how you feel ...... I’m currently dipping my little toes into the Marathon and Race Support forum .... gulp! 😱😳

You’ll love this forum. It’s so very helpful, and I think I can speak for many of us who have acknowledged that these forums have made our running possible. There’s always a friendly reply to whatever’s bothering you, and we love to read about everyone’s runs and achievements. Pictures, stats, running kit ..... anything goes!

So have fun and enjoy your consolidation runs! We’ll be ready and waiting to cheer you on on your exciting journey to 10k. Which, by the way, you will definitely achieve! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Welcome,

It’s hard balance to find isn’t it. I love reading all the posts but always feel no one would be that interested in what I’m chatting about lol πŸ˜‚. Keep the comments coming I say. Well done on your graduation and consolidation runs. Maybe we’ll get to 10K around the same time πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Yep the salty post got me too πŸ˜€. Huge well done on graduation and consolidating those runs πŸ₯³. I am a serial replier at the moment as have had to hit pause button on running but everyone’s posts are keeping me entertained while I patiently wait and try not to be too jealous at all the fabulous runs going on even when they they may feel a bit rubbish they are still fabulous runs. I so would love a rubbish run. Any run really. So, Happy running and big welcome. Stay with us for a little touch of magic in your world. πŸ’•
