Since my stomach bug last week, which lasted a week, I’ve been left with Heartburn, occasionally ... Having not really experienced it before, I can see why they call it that!

Not getting it all the time and eating regularly helps.

I’m having to tell myself I’m not having a heart attack and that I can resume running, but being a worry bean, it’s worried me 😱

I’m Assuming it will disappear soon, and I’ll trot off to the chemist for a remedy today as it’s been rather annoying!

Does anyone have a good remedy and have you found it best not to run when it’s occurring?

To top it off, my partner has hopped off to Ibiza with his son and back on Sunday, so I’m waiting for him to run with me, just in case it’s not heartburn and I need roadside assistance... oh i dream of not being a worrier 😂 I do over complicate things!

I’ve not had heartburn since I started running but took gaviscon when I did. It works by placing a chalky layer over the acid in your stomach so you don’t get that horrible reflux.

Good luck, I hope you feel tip top soon
