Until the 17th (that's in 2 days) there's an early bird offer to pay £45 for the experience of the wolf run's summer run in Leicester. For anyone out of the know, it's a 10km off-road obstacle course. You can do it on either the 1st or 2nd of June. Here's the webby for more info thewolfrun.com/summerwolf/
I've been inspired by reading (somewhat nostalgically) one of my posts from THREE YEARS AGO:
Is anyone else going to do it? It would be great to meet up with someone(s) from the forum but I appreciate that might be more easily said than done.
The fact I'm currently doing a 10k plan and the plan doesn't suggest 10km for at least another three months doesn't put me off. It's not like you run the 10km, much of it is through mud, and it would be a REALLY good workout. I'd probably do more slow longer runs over the next couple of weeks if I do go for it.
So tell me your thoughts - shall I go for it, did you hear about the wolf run before, or are you thinking of doing it, or do you think I'm nuts for considering it?

Windoze mentioned this in passing in one of his past posts so I had a look at it. It sounds so interesting! In regards to doing it or not, I'd say go for it if your level of fitness will allow you to do it and still be able to move the next day 😆. You ran it 3 years ago so you know what to expect. And of course, if you do it, you must tell us all about it!
It really is GOG 👍 Thankfully my manager's manager's manager has said she'll look at the rota tomorrow to see if anything can be done. I get on well with her and she likes running too 😉 Apparently, though I've only heard this from another colleague, she did one HM somewhere, then travelled down south, had one rest day, and then did another HM. I'll have to ask her tomorrow if I remember because that's loopy.
Alas the Wolf Run isn't a good enough reason and they've not got anyone to cover my role, so it's a no to this wolf run. I'll hopefully do the one that's in August or September. A job I've applied for recently is one that's only Monday - Friday so it would be no problem. I'll find out if i've been successful later this week or the start of next. I SO want to get out of Cadbury World.
