Hooray, Weymouth Parkrun with my sis-in-law and I made it - didn’t think my calf would be ready but all was well. Sadly I left my barcode at home - totally forgot - what a shame! Still, no PB so never mind. The course is my favourite I’ve done, lovely going through the woods and park - a mixture of surfaces.
So onwards and upward and maybe I can start the magic 10km plan with Rosabi now 😊🏃🏼♀️ Happy Easter running all.

Nice photo of you and your sister in law, pity about forgetting the barcode, that means that only the position you came at is showing on the result page, the rest is unknown, I once saw the results of some parkrun where the runner who came first was unknown, he must have been annoyed with himself as the person who was second had a time of 17 minutes.
Sounds lovely. So glad your calf has recovered. It's always nervy running after a bit of an injury isn't it, but a fantastic feeling when you realise it's going to be OK.
Well done. I’m from Dorset (now living in Hampshire) and would like to do Weymouth parkrun one day.
There were lots of forgotten bar codes at Southsea today too. I was volunteering. Once, my OH and I both forgot our passes, but he ran home and retrieved them before the last finisher so we were ok (my hero). As a result we then ordered one of the credit card type barcodes which comes with 3 little barcodes, one of which is laced onto our running shoes. We don’t use them for scanning but it reminds us to take the big one.
Sounds a really nice course. I’ve got one of the credit card size barcodes which lives in my bumbag, together with phone, tissues, keys and cash. If I forgot all those, I’d be really stuck!
