Hi been running for over two years now went from c25k then now stable at 10k however the last 4 runs have resulted within 1hour of finishing sneezing nose running like a tap and watety eyes. I have seen this could be excersise induced rhinitis.

Does anyone else have this and can I take anything to prevent it. Would hate to destroy all the work building up to 10 but after every run you fell terrible

I’ve never heard of that. Do you think you might be getting hay fever? Everything’s beginning to bud. Maybe try an antihistamine? Careful though, some of them can make you drowsy.

Been running no problem did 10k Monday feel terrible again with runny nose headache and congestion almost exactly a year since I posted original post. Never had symptoms since last post upto today. I am thinking I may have just started with hay fever but I am thinking very specific pollen as it is the same time of the year again

Any thoughts?
