So I went for another trot yesterday, it was grey, miserable and flippin cold, perfect running conditions actually!! I managed a 5.5k on a grumbly knee so think I'm going to have an extra rest day and wait until Monday to go out again.
As most of you know, I have been proudly wearing my new, shiny badge for a week now and am still smiling. When I got back from my run yesterday my running postman had delivered this gorgeous bit of bling...I said I am going to do a virtual run a month for charity through 2019, so I did Jan & Feb for Dementia, awaiting bling for that...for March I had to do a 10k for International women's day so that was another reason I wanted to get to my 10k goal..so not only have I got my sleeveless top as a reminder of my first 10k, I have a medal too!!! Happy days!
Have a lovely weekend everyone whatever you're up to. Only 1 more week until I will be doing some more tourist running on a white sandy beach...or on a dreadmill if it's too hot!!!
Love to you all

Well done kiddo, I like the women's day medal, espesh the colour. I did it last year. These challenges are good for us too and you've definately earned them. Where are you off to? Xxx
Well done Mummycav - its an awesome feeling isnt it- I am doing the same as you and have been virtual running for a medal every month - it helps me focus on my running goal and also benefits a charity so a win win I hope- lovely to hear you are still running
