Virtual race for world kidney day 😁

Today is world kidney day!! I donated a kidney to my son on his 16th birthday nearly 2 years ago. The company organising this event have a real race in Leeds today and then a virtual run. It was really important for me to take part is this event.

You can run any distance so l got up early this morning, 05.50, to get a run in. I don't normally run on Thursday because of work, so it was then or never!

It wasn't fast, but l was just glad to get out and I should get a medal 😁😁.

Thanks. It has certainly been a journey and it is a bit of a wake up call to take every opportunity and not take anything for granted. 😁😁

Thanks for the Yorkshire hug!😀 I was a Lincolnshire girl, then a Yorkshire girl for many years, before moving down south!
