I had earmarked today for my Wk4 run in roseabi 's Winter Speed Challenge - however woke up to the brilliant blue sunny skies of a perfect Spring morning and decided on a longer run somewhere lovely (there's still next week for the speed challenge after all!).
So a wonderful jaunt taking in some of my favourite bits of Oxford π accompanied by the sounds of oars in the water and church bells. Didn't stop to take photos (though did stop to chat to a family from school clearly amazed to see their Headteacher running π) just soaked it all in. Some food for the soul before the return to work tomorrow!
Still only 6 weeks and then Cornwall here I come.
Happy running everyone π

We're going to stay in Newlyn (we found an amazingly luxiourious cottage there last year) but I love any of the West coast from St Ives down through St Just and Sennen and round past Porthcurno, Lamorna and Mousehole to Penzance and Marazion.
I think if I could live anywhere in the world it would be hard to find somewhere I felt happier in than Penwith. π
That sounds fantastic! We are renting a very swish apartment with harbour views in St Ives. It will be my first time in Cornwall, shockingly! I cannot wait. π
St Ives is soooo lovely. Great beach running - but very hilly through town and fantastic coastal walking. I'm very envious- imagine still having Cornwall to discover for the first time. π
