Week 6 finished - with a freezing Lincoln parkrun PB!

Ended up doing 2 x 5ks this week due to inadvertently miscalculating my 4k route. I braved the cold (0 deg when I set off and 0.5 on the way home) and went back to Lincoln this week, as I guessed it would be drier underfoot and less exposed than Market Rasen. Came 247th out of 295, but I reckon it was only the brave or foolhardy running addicts that would turn out in such weather, as there are usually over 450. I felt as though I was going at a very comfortable pace, but managed a Lincoln PB of 33.40, just 15 seconds slower than my Market Rasen PB and almost a minute faster than my previous Lincoln PB. So, the plan for next week is Monday 9k, Wednesday 5k, Friday 4k then the big one on Sunday at Clumber Trust10. Feeling really nervous, although keep telling myself it’s only just over half a mile extra! Eek, nearly there 😬
