Its a grey day out there, still quite warm and a sky heavy with rain and a wee bit windy but for me comfortable running conditions (would you listen to me the professional...notπ)
I choose to run around my old haunting ground, the grave yard as my right hip was aching following 14 hours on my feet at work yesterday.
I had one of those runs that was just nice and comfortable and a bit dreamy in places. At times I was surprised to find myself on a particular part of the path having run it with my mind drifting.
The hip issue has made me run in a slower more measured way which ironically I think has improved my stamina because I ran 8K and felt I could have gone on further, however big rain drops were starting to fall and I think it was a sign to go home and put the kettle on.
Enjoy your running everyone x
Aw, that sounds just perfect! You found your happy pace. I sometimes drift off in thought on longer slow runs. Itβs bliss. Well done on a fab run! Hope your hip aches abate soon. x
Thank you π bit like when you βre driving and are not quite sure what happened for a couple of minutes... not quite so dangerous thoβ π€π
Wow, sounds like you were 'in the zone'. 8km still seems like a LOT to me π
Thank you, I started and finished the programme earlier this year and have slowly followed ju-juβs plan as and when my hip allows. Really enjoy it π
