Def felt like I was running out of steam a bit at the end although feel my fitness is improving with each run. Feel generally stronger throughout and although parts still feel tough, mentally I manage to push myself through wanting to lie down on the pavement!
Even ran a new route which involves running on a main road .... which a lot of my colleagues drive up and down which for me was brave!!!
Then at just after the 5K mark I got beeped at by a builders van... at age 40 after running 5K i think I’ll take that as a massive compliment cos I prob looked like a sweaty lobster 😂

The only thing that stops me is the fact that I’m a paramedic and so my colleagues would come and pick me up and I couldn’t cope with the shame of it 🙈
