First fall .

Got up this morning and wasn't going to go running until tomorrow but whilst putting the bins and recycling bins out for collection I decided it was a perfect running day .

Got myself ready and boom out the door .

Really enjoying it had been running for approx 26/28 minutes when I tripped over something not sure what.

A lovely Lady stopped her car and helped me up . 2 cut knees , 1 cut hand , 1 cut elbow and extremely swollen pride.

I was to shaken to run on but wasn't to far from my partner's house.

So I went there and was greeted with kisses and chocolate and a cuppa .

It wouldn't keep me down I'll be back out .

Good that you got tea and sympathy My husband just pulled a face at me and walked off 🤨

We all fall at some point. Usually grazed hands and knees are all we get 🙂. Dust yourself down and go again 🏃‍♀️😃👍

Aw no, it's an inevitability but still sucks when it happens! If it's any consolation I fell up the stairs on my way in to work, and there's absolutely no glory in a non-running fall! The coffee I'd just bought went everywhere and I made the loudest clatter which I'm certain could be heard all over the country. Thought a building fell down in your neighbourhood at around 9am..? Nope, just me hitting the deck up in Glasgow. 😅

Ooch. The shock is worse than the pain sometimes. Chocolate is the answer to all ills - you’ve got a good one there.

Kisses & chocolate, don’t remember that being part of First Aid Course??? But who cares, you deserved it the ‘treatment’. I hope you heal quickly & get back out there 👍
