Nike Sport or Strava?

Hi all, I would like to invest (not immediately) in an Apple Watch or upgrade my Fitbit to a waterproof one. Can you use Strave app with Nike Apple Watch? What are the pros cons of the apps?? TIA

Hiya! I got a series 3 GPS Apple Watch (used, but ‘as new’) because I also swim. Strava has an Apple Watch app, and you can of course use the Nike app too. Main frustration for me is that I struggle to get the Watch to recognise a swipe if my finger is wet - which is really annoying if I want to stop my time as soon as I finish. But there are some neat features and I think there is an ‘auto stop’ thing I’ve not yet trusted! I went with the Apple Watch because I have an iPhone and I can do Apple Pay. It’s frustrating I can’t stream Amazon Music to the watch 🙄 as I have a Prime account, and don’t want to subscribe to Apple Music. Whichever you go with then enjoy it!

Sounds like I’ll be in your boat with the music I have all things apple but a Fitbit however the price of the new waterproof Fitbit is about the same as the Apple. I think I’ll have to save a little longer and get the Apple. Out of curiosity where did you get your watch from? Plus does it have a metal back (against your wrist) or is it plastic? Sorry for 3rd degree
