Well Monday's 10k my Garmin watch told me I was overdoing things. I didn't quite agree but figured it was at least a good guideline. Monday was 1:09.40 with an average pace of 9:45 per mile.

So Wednesday I took it easy with a 4 miler in 38:30 with an average of 9:36/ mile. Garmin was happy I was back inside normal parameters and once again "productive" 🀣

Yesteday was 33 miles of mountain biking which Strava agreed was "tough" (slight understatement at some points!)

Today's run could have been difficult after yesterday's efforts and being a workday (and falling over at work) but it all came together. I carried on to reach 7 miles with a good consistent pace. Really pleased with myself. Garmin happy that I'm not overdoing it.

I took my "Nathan" waist belt/bottle and practiced drinking (choking) on the go. Definitely an art to master!

Still loving it. Need to do more trail but nettles putting me off a tad still.

Yea... just a small scrape to the shin and a wee dent to pride. Could have been much worse. I put it down to being overtired as I didn't sleep that well. Would have been funny had it not been me! 🀣

Just go steady! It’s early days. Rome wasn’t built in a day πŸ™‚

Trail running is fab and it forces you to slow down. I’d hit it soon πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Yea definately keeps the pace down to over 10/mile. Part of that regular route is earth/gravel and does normally slow me to 10ish but it all just flowed last night. It really didn't feel too much effort or too hot.

Cloud cover helped a bit. Got to practice more with the waist bottle, swigging on the go was more tricky than expected. 🀣

You can sip on the go but you can stop. Stopping is good πŸ˜ƒ

Speaking of Go-Go’s, a running tune for you has to be Head over Heels. I have it in my playlist. One to clap along to 😁 πŸ‘
