Watch advice

I have seen posts about watches previously but didn’t pay enough attention so looking for some advice. There seems to be so much choice! My phone/computer are pretty old school so the most important features are more the instant read outs rather than the connectivity to devices. Anyone want to share their love (or dislike) of their watches and why.

I bought a Garmin Forerunner 25 about 6 weeks ago and really love it. I think it's the cheapest in the Garmin range but it does all I need, the most important thing to me being it tells you your distance as you are running. When you download to your computer, tablet or phone it basically gives you a full report on your run. It was just under £80. There are usually some Garmin's on eBay so that might be worth a look also.

I have a Garmin 220 and it's now four years old. I love it and it gives me what I need. Mile/kilometer markers, pace, cadence, splits and a host of other stuff if you want/need it but I tend to use the basics. I think you'll find Garmin is a popular choice here but there are other makes.

Take a look at this website. This reviewer is the guru in his field.
