haven't posted in ages, just wanted to thank everyone for all the support on the weekend and display my new earned bling ... the next question is it too early to be thinking of the next big run to do ... ;)

I have it in my mind to work towards a half marathon. Maybe not a full marathon as they seem to be designed as some form of torture!

i was told all about the crowd carrying you through the last few miles, in training i managed to get to 10 miles and couldn't get past, the volunteers on the road side, the members of the public and the support from the runners alongside you will stick with me always, they saw me through the last few miles and then some :D

That's fantastic. Quite an achievement and a great looking medal. I hope my first HM goes as well :)

there was an issue with the marshaling at one point which resulted in myself and a few others missing out on 3 miles of the course :( but i did what i did in 2:08 got a great tech tee and a nice shiny bit of bling, the organizers sorted out the issue and i am pleased to say i am giving it a go (along with a few other half's) again next year
