If this is the colour I am an hour after running how am I going to cope in the heat of the summer?

Not a sensible idea to run in the midday sun, I know, but it was only 14 degrees 😂

I managed a nice gentle 8k in 54 mins so very pleased with that after struggling earlier this week

I had a decidedly pink tinge today too despite the rain. I had my hood up so it was a bit like a turkish bath in there 🙂☺️😊

I did a comfy 8k this morning too. Happy days 👍🏃‍♀️

Thought about your post this morning. I'd driven out to run a lovely local route. Covered around 6k and caught sight of myself in car mirror as I set off for home. Definitely more red than you!

As for work I'm a teacher and ran a mile a day for sports relief with the children at school. After one run a child asked me if I was hot I said 'Why do I look hot?'- she said 'Yes. Really, really, really hot!' 😂😂😂

It does get better! I just returned from my 13 k pootle and thought as I looked in the mirror "you're nowhere near as beetroot red as you used to be". Still a healthy pink though.

You look wonderful!! And what a brilliant time for your run with this heat. I feel the same for the heat: I know I will have to run in the mornings or if it's rainy (and breezy) and not too warm this summer lol Otherwise having a rather dark skin, I look not nice and rosy like you, but a ripe tomato red
