50 tomorrow

Reflecting on my journey so far. I wanted to be able to run 5k before I’m 50 which I have achieved. To me this has been a great journey to keep fit and active. My own dad was diagnosed with cancer at 58 and died at 62 it’s so important to look after yourself the short life we have. Xxx

Good for you for taking that step! I did c25 turning 50 for the same reason. We have a lot of heart disease in our family and this was a chance to pull away from that. All the best on your running journey. And happy birthday!
