It’s week 5 of ju-ju’s plan and I’ve just been out for my 8k run. Wasn’t feeling the love tonight, way too many walking breaks and seemed ever so slow, but turns out it was 7s faster than last week so at least I am consistent.
Had to stop at one point when I swallowed a huge fly/ moth - urgh!
Funniest point of the night was when I found myself on the same route as the local running club. As they sped past me some of them tried to recruit me (ha ha!), and then as I stopped for yet another walk break their tail runner very sweetly asked if I was ok!
Onwards and upwards, only 3 1/2 weeks to my first 10k race (eek!).
