Just returned from a second outing in my new shoes. I don't usually run at midday and I won't again, it just didn't work for me. However, the main reason for my meagre 3.2k run/walk was having forgotten to put my sports bra on π π π As other like minded ladies I'm sure will appreciate,an ordinary bra just doesn't cut the mustard.
Ah well, I got out, made myself laugh and worked off some of yesterday's stodge though. This bridge to 10k thing though is a while away yet, I think maybe need to still to the C25k forum until my mojo comes back π€
When you change your run time it takes a wee bit if planning.
If i run first thing, im up, water, out.
If I run later in the morning i have small bowl of porridge and half banana, plenty fluid. Wait at least an hour but could be longer. Then run. It would be a late lunch on that day.
It may be worth sticking with trying different time runs in case you ever want to do an event that is not an early morning start.
Ouch! I know what you mean about not being as organised if you don't run at your normal time. I set off once wondering why things were a bit blurry - no contact lenses in
You will be fine building up to 10k, you don't need to go back to the C25K forum unless you want to. It's not a race, just take your time. Why not stick with the Week 8 and 9 runs for a bit, try the C25K+ runs such as Stamina and Stepping Stones, and when the moment is right, and everything feels good, just carry on for a little bit longer. You'll get there!
