Can you believe it 8k?

New Years Day and decided today was the day to tackle the 8k run.

Not so many people about on this cool morning (5 degrees here) just a couple of dog walkers and cyclists along my favourite running route. Passed a couple of runners and managed a cheery hello. Yes, I even managed to talk, smile and run 😁.

Tried very hard to slow my pace down and did have to stop to take one top off at 5k as I still haven't mastered doing that on the go!

When I reached 7k I thought yes I can do this and even managed to up the pace a little.

Very happy now relaxing and listening to New Years Day concert.
