Sunday Long Run - lovely πŸ˜€

Cows, sheep, mad barking farm dogs, geese, ducks and a buzzard! Weather perfect - dry, cold but not freezing and a gentle wind. Managed to safely negotiate slippery slurry on the road, wet cattle grids and icy patches. Also survived the shock of having three barking collie dogs chasing us (luckily they thought better of it when I turned and shouted at them) 😠 Mr Squiggs was, as usual, loving it, especially when we spooked the sheep and they started running along the road in front of us 🐏🐏🐏

I feel so lucky to be able to run and so glad that I found C25k and this wonderful forum. Happy running everyone and quick recoveries to anyone on IC 😊

What a stunning view!

Wet cattle grids are a nightmare, aren’t they?

Yes! Squiggy trots over them quite happily while I follow gingerly πŸ˜•

sounds like a great run, and a lot of fun. I keep saying I should try a trail run one day everyone makes them sound really good fun.

Today's run was on single track roads and pavement, I do prefer mixed terrain. But still a wonderful run 😊

Seriously, is that your view?!! I think I might run into the distance and never come back! Until I run out of puff that is, so about 50 minutes then! :) I would love to run for an hour and a half there, well done on a great time. :)

Looks gorgeous πŸ™‚ Cattle grids are a pain and really interrupt your rhythm πŸ˜•

Yes, I try to 'jog' over them which easier said than done!

Hi realrunner, yes running with the doggie is exciting - I have to concentrate in case he spots wildlife or smells something interesting! Realrunner

Where is your picture taken there? It looks like a beautiful place to run! I am in Michigan in the States and we have hills, but no mountains where I am.

Oh Skyesue, what a gorgeous photo- I am fairly sure we have a photo of our youngest daughter,(age 6) in her little cycle helmet smiling for the camera with that wonderful backdrop behind - we were on holiday. Her little legs cycled 24 miles that day! Long time ago now - she's just gone to university! Happy memories. What a wonderful place to run. πŸ˜„
