Yesterday I set up my MyAsics plan for my HM training. I missed this last year, it has become quite a fun ritual. 1st of November HM training starts. I am full of cold but the plan doesn't start till next week so that's ok. 18 weeks to my first HM next year then one 11 weeks after. This year I have told MyAsics that I don't run so my first run is 1km. Hehe I am running 5km a week at the moment but I want to start my training plan off slowly as I have had a bit of a struggle this year and I want my training plan to be a positive addition to my life not something that stretches me past what I can do.
I have a new phone this year so I am actually thinking about using the voice coach. I have heard different reports on this so it should be interesting.๐.
A happy healthy week to you all.

I set up my asics plan up last week for hm training for April 2018, so plenty of time! My first runs are 4.5 mile easy pace which feels too easy. I see the plan jumps up to 8.5 miles and later a 11 mile run before the event. I have been running a 7-8mile every other week which I may still do. Eek, it is exciting but ages away. I haven't booked the event yet though.
I love the thrill of setting up my training plan. I am at my happiest when I have a plan that I can tick the runs off and feel that lovely sense of achievement. MyAsics always has the first run at a walking pace, I don't know why they do that, maybe to lull you into a sense of security ๐. enjoy your training.
Hehe I am terrible I booked both of mine in April/June this year. The first one is a new one the big half in London, it sold out in a couple of weeks it is two weeks before the London Marathon (March )the second is my favourite one which is the Hackney half (May) I like to get the early bird prices if I can. I find that having a date for me just adds to the fun and works as my conscience if I don't feel like going out ๐.
I have set one up too..... aiming for April HM but a hopeful 10 mile in March..... eeek. I told the plan i cant yet run 5k too as I want to rebuild following my recent physio! So I'm only up to 4k at the mo....., perfect as I want to concentrate on technique and form so slowly slowly.
Come on Hidden , get signed up, you are sure to be ready ๐๐ผ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
This should be interesting then as I spent quite a bit of time in the headmistresses office at school. Definitely not a teacher pet. I am prone to swearing at talking coaches, I even swore at the lovely Laura a few times ๐. (Strange as I don't normally swear, it just brings it out of me when my run is under pressure๐)
Very exciting RFC! Good luck with your training. I am aiming for a HM in March - training has not yet commenced and I don't use official training plans as such...๐ฎ It feels a long way away at the moment, both in weeks and runnning time but I know will come round quickly once I get past Christmas. There is a vague training structure in my head though, so I am not completely unprepared...Oo, starting to feel a bit nervous just thinking about it!๐
I have 18 weeks until my HM, that shocked me when I saw it in MyAsics plan. I'm get excited as soon as I can see the plan, to me the training is 90% of the fun.
