Please feel free to share your runs here and chat about how it's all going,
Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.
If youre a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy week,
Juju and Realfoodieclub

Well I suppose I’m a bit of a lurker so here goes! It’s not really going well at the moment with pains in the shins not improving. Gave it a rest for two weeks and then tried park run again which went well, took a good few seconds off my PB but now I’m back to square one again with the aches and pains! Do I give it a go again tonight or leave it for a week? I’m missing the structure of the three runs a week and the light nights!the bridge from 5k to 10k is not proceeding very quickly.
Sorry to hear you are having trouble. If you've tried all the usual advice i.e. gait analysis for trainers, M.I.C.E (gentle movement, ice, compression, elevation), taking it slow and steady (it sounds like maybe you got back to running after the 2 weeks at a fairly swift pace)....then maybe it's time for a trip to the docs? I hope you get it sorted soon.
Hi there, well I’m just back from the first proper attempt at running in the dark and I still don’t like it but I’ll have to conquer it if I’m going to keep going! Legs weren’t too bad so I may attempt park run again on Saturday although maybe I should try to build the distance up again slowly . I just don’t want to let the fitness levels drop as it’s taken me so long to get this far!
