Someone's asking about winter clothing in a previous post, so thought I'd put the guide on again..

It's a great reminder Dave 🙂
davelinks very helpful. It might be worth putting this in the C25K forum too, as quite a few newbies have been asking about clothing for the colder months. 🤓

I think that this is a fantastic guide for experienced runners. We probably run 'hotter' than beginners as we may run faster or further.
To be honest, I think that someone in the earlier weeks of C25K is going to feel cold dressed per the poster, particularly in the walking sections. Best there definitely seems to be a tendency to layer up too much in the winter months, and then overheat.

Really useful, thanks! This settles it: I’m sticking to my guns and staying in my shorts until it drops below 10!

Wether or not some people run hotter than others when running faster or further, it's up to the individual adults what they actually decide to wear in the winter months. I think the guide is a good one and that's all it is, a guide! And not to be taken too literally!
That is helpful indeed. It just shows that in the UK at least you really don't NEED too much gear to be a runner. Whether or not you WANT too much stuff is another matter!
