Car pooling

I had a rough night of about 3hrs sleep (work problem now happily resolved) so its possible I hallucinated this entire event! 😳

So I'm running along my usual route on the way to the cemetery and traffic is moving except one car slooowing down with no power. I guess his motor conked out in the cold morn. He coasts through the light turns up the hill and then jumps out and frantically begins pushing while steering with one arm. So I run over to give him a hand thinking he just wants to push the car over and out of traffic but no, he's only pushing it right up the hill! Hills seem larger at 7am when you are bleary-eyed and pushing a beat-up Toyota with a guy in flip-flops. So there we are trying to push it up and we managed to get it over the crest and it started rolling faster. I warned him "buddy, you best jump back in on the way down, so he manages to catch it and get back in without losing a flip-flop (or a toe) and gets the beast started back up again waving his arm out the window down the hill. No idea if he made it to his destination but he seemed happy enough. After that little side quest I just turned back to the cemetery which thankfully was both car and hill-free!

Weights, cardio and running all in one outing! And the cemetery at hand just in case it was all too much :D

Glad the work problem was resolved.

Thanks Annie. Stayed up half the night worrying about a mistake I made on a project only to realize there was no mistake the next day!

haha!! - after Misswobble's comment below, I reread your reply and finally got the joke! That was great! Yes kind of a full-circle thing there - And my friends on the cemetery landscape morning crew surely would have found a nice spot. :)

Haha. I was more worried he was going to run himself over going up that hill!

What an exciting life you lead :) Looks like you got a full-scale work-out during your run today. I rarely see a soul, and sing "ain't nobody here but us chickens" to keep myself company.

Sometimes I am told my sense of humour is a little bit dark, but hey, life, she is short.

I was worried about him by himself, but with two of us it was much more manageable as it was a small, lighter car. I hope he was on his way to a service station :)
