Trail shoes took me off track!

When I went out this morning, I thought it might be slippery so I wore my trail shoes as they are more grippy! When I was running, I thought the paths were fine and as I was wearing my trail shoes, I would stick to the grass. I enjoyed going off into the playing fields and woods and the ground was nice and firm too. I haven't run on soft ground for a long time because it has been so dark before work. It reminded me of when I was doing C25K as I used to run in these places then, happy memories!

It has been a good week as I have moved to four runs a week for the first time. Lovely to run on soft ground and once the dark mornings are over, I will do it more because the playing field is just round the corner from where I live, I have missed it!!

Trail running is lovely. I just like being away from traffic! One less thing to worry about 🙂
