How about we do a 5K,10K, 21.1K half marathon and a 42.2K full marathon -- OVER THE DURATION OF THE SAME WEEKEND.

It sounds slightly "easier" than running an ultra marathon. At least there's a night to recover between each phase. But kudos to those who complete it, I don't think I could even with a crapton of training.

My friend did it last weekend - she's amazing! The half marathon was cancelled because there were thunderstorms in the area but she ran a course anyway as she didn't want to get the HM medal otherwise. I think she's having a rest now....
I think I would be needing a little more than a "rest" - probably a blood transfusion and a spell in a nice Sanitarium somewhere
