From 5K to 5.5K

First post in here since C25K now that for the first time I have run a slightly longer distance😃 I took it as easy as I possibly could given the current health issue (see my posts in the C25K) forums for that but bloods, pulse,BP all fine I'm happy to say.Just the echo and ETT to have checked. Anyhow, felt fine,no ill effects felt at all and paced it as gently as I could. Did okay and on a par with my best 5K pace so although it may sound speedy, didn't feel that way 😃

Sounds like you are taking it easy and not increasing distance to fast. They quote increasing distance by 10% only so stick with this new distance for a couple of weeks before going further. We all start somewhere and sounds like you are doing well. Get those other tests done, a good bill of health will do wonders for your running.
