Another vote for the Kalenji Run Light!

After the recent recommendation on here (thank you 1903!), I decided to treat myself to this chest light. It was despatched quickly and I have been out for a run in it tonight. I have to say, I am really impressed. Personally, I don't like wearing head lights (although I accept there may be times when I need to), so I had been looking at the Kalenji run light from Decathalon for a while. Easy to wear and incredibly light, you really do forget you are wearing it. It has three light settings for the front chest light as well as flashing red lights on the back! There is a small swaying motion on the light beam due to the natural rhythm of running but I soon forgot all about it. I used it on about a quarter of my 11k run at points when I was without street lighting or in very pooorly lit areas. I used the lowest light setting and this was sufficient to light my way! I imagine if you were to run on a trail at night you would need one of the higher settings but I have not been brave enough to try this yet!!😬 It charges via a USB - I use my iPad charger. All in all a great and very smart looking bit of kit! 😀 £29.99.

That's really good to know, thanks Sandraj39 . I'm doing ok with the headtorch at the moment but I really like the idea of a 'rear' light for when I'm on the country lanes 😀

Brilliant! Great to know the merits! I've bought one of these but not used it yet. It's now charged and fitted to size and all ready to go! Can't wait 👍🏼😃

Looks good! I've just received some high quality led cycle lights when I joined the British Cycling club, got them for half price, it's great when you don't have to mess about with batteries, just plug USB into laptop or power socket..😊

Looks interesting, thanks for posting.....haven't tried running in the dark yet (winter evenings here in the Highlands are often very wet and windy as well as dark!). Happy running
