One more sleep.......

How life has changed. I've had a big family holiday booked for pretty much of all of 2016 as I'll be hitting a big birthday very soon, the big 5 0 and of all things to look forward to, I can't wait to do some early morning runs in the warm climate of Portugal's Algarve. A year ago I'm sure my priorities would have been very different and an early morning 8 - 10k run would not have been one of them.

Mind you I do have a 10 mile race booked a week after I come back.....bad planning or what!!!

Haha! I know the feeling. Running takes over your life πŸ€— and the running kit is the first thing I pack now when going away! I'm just back from the Algarve and running there is just lovely but you have to go early as it's still hot.

Have a fab big birthday and enjoy your running πŸƒ

Running on vacation is the best. Enjoy yourself. And what a great way to celebrate a milestone birthday.

Some distances for someone who graduated in recent months, especially in the heat abroad, needs to be done very early morning, take care..😊

Enjoy the holiday, enjoy the birthday and enjoy the running. You are so right though. I found myself using the words it's only 10k the other day.........

Good luck with the race. You're doing much better with your distances than me!

Have a fantastic 50th and enjoy your holiday! (I am fitter at 51 than I have ever been btw!) I think you are doing the Bright10 aren't you? I am doing the Great South Run (also a 10 miler) the week after! Getting close now!☺
