10K race for life is tomorrow evening! Have raised over £300 so want to do it justice. Any tips?

The most important advice i give to people doing events is to go out there and have some fun. You have done all the hard work your ready for it. Well done on all the money you've raised as well. Can't wait to read your report, you will be fine.

Hold back a little for the first 5k - and then RUN for home! :)

Yep, first half try to resist the urge to go off like a rocket 😊 Think at the 1k mark you have 9 more of those, that usually reins me in. If it's very hot you will really have to take it steady and hope you have some puff left for the final push, either one or half a kilometre from the end

Good luck. Have fun! 😊

Enjoy it. You'll be great. Just keep it slow at the start - particularly right out of the gates.

Good Luck ! Will probably be very packed at the beginning so you will have no choice but to take it slow. After that, just take it at a steady pace and soak in the atmosphere as it will be amazing !

You will be fine, have a great time ! :-) xxx

PS: And Well done on raising that amount of money, that's great !

Just think of the money! (And enjoy). Well done for even doing this.

I hope the race went well for you! Just by raising the money and taking part, you've done a great thing for cancer research.
