This will put the wind in your hair floss, that is, if you didn't now have wear a helmet... I do more running now these days than riding bikes! Sigh!

Lovely bike. My last one was a Pan European - what's the emoticon for sentimental sigh? ;-)

Yes, good memories of the tours I've done with wife & friends some years ago, over the continent, especially, the tour down through France over the Swiss Alps and into Italy, and then another tour over to Norway.. And up to Scotland twice, Awesome! Great bike the pan, friend on those tours had one, loved it and did loads of miles, but got a problem with his hip and couldn't get his leg over! So he had to sell it.

I used Vfr800 then mainly BMW R1150/1200 Rt's.My nephew is a service coordinator in a Honda bike dealers, and I keep thinking about having a test ride on a Vfr1200 DCC the one with an auto gearbox, must be excellent for touring...😉

No, I wouldn't trade in a Beemer for a Honda, if I had one already! Both excellent quality, yes, I know you have a BMW!😊

Had heated seats and cd/radio on my beemer, excellent on the long cold runs, as long as the temp is set right or you cook!😊

That looks similar to the Dragstar 1100, beautiful bike!

Yes, It's a Suzuki Intruder125... Looks like a bigger cc bike, that's partly why I got it, and cheap to run, and I enjoy working on it, loads of spare parts available..

Great bike The Honda Super Blackbird CBR1100XX, I nearly bought one a few years back but found, when I got on it I couldn't lift my feet high enough to get them on the footrests! (pegs)

With illness and lack of excercise due to too much sitting, my leg muscles had weakened & seized up. That's not the case now with the running😊

It is/was a great bike, even went on track day on it :)

I some how managed to curl my long legs up to ride it .

Sadly just not possible to have a bike now.

One of my son had a Blackbird CBR 1100. Was not allowed to park it next to the Beemers

Was that from members of the BMW owners club? They can be a tad biased! That's one reason I never joined the club!😕
