Hello All, My Mom is diagnose with breast cancer spread to the ribs only(ER/PR+),Now she is under hormonal therapy (FEMARA) and monthly once zoledronic acid.My onc suggested the next option available is palbace tablets for her current condition.
1. How to check whether she is responding for hormonal theraphy? our doctor suggested to take xray and ultrasound for abdomen and pelvis. Is this tests are sufficient to know the response of hormone tablets or we need to take a PET scan?
2.Side by side i had a word with my insurance responsible person, he is telling palbace will be not be covered under insurance.any one bought palbace tablets before, please let me know the price and procedure to get the same
