Hi ,

My aunt is diagnosed with breast cancer-stage 4.

i request you all to let me know is there a chance of surviving post the treatement.and hospitals i can take her for treatemnt.I am living in hyderabd, India.can take anywhere in India

Dear friend:

It is your positive attitude towards life which makes your journey of life easy. How long one survives - that depends on the diagnosis & the staging. Along with all the medicines & treatment , having a strong & positive attitude towards life helps in surviving & fighting the disease.

Please don't loose hope. Only when you put up your aunts reports, the doctors can guide you.

We can understand the trauma your family must be undergoing after having known your aunt is in stage 4. Even for stage 4, there are different outcomes depending on the organs involved and there are lots of delicate decisions to be taken.

We would suggest that you select a good centre in your city and take proper treatment.

We may not be able to guide you about selection of treatments or any such medical decisions. But this community can definitely help you while your aunt is undergoing treatment by providing subtle information and tips and such.
