I had 4 xfec, 4 x taxol. Got increasingly tired on the taxol also had shooting pains in my fingers and toes. My toes felt numb for a few days after the second and third taxol however after the final one the numbness has stayed to some degree. Its periperal neurapathy where the nerve endings have been affected by the chemo and isnt uncommon. Can honestly say my numbish toes have never bothered me. I regulary walk the 10k over the mountain to my sons house here in Ireland.

Apart from losing my hair my worst bit was the tiredness.. although l did manage to keep working until the last chemo which left me so tired all l felt like doing was curling up under the duvet... but l bounced back well before my radio started 4wks later,

That sounds about it. Mine was mid summer...I had night sweats...wet pillows ended up with a towel over the pillow. It wasnt complete cycle but day 6 to 14 at its worst. Stomach was delicate with course of injections plus three days afterwards, I still get numbness in toes three month post treatment. Redness and peeling feet lasted two months post treatment, nai!s got worse in recovery. Days 3 to 6, legs had little strength in them, making stairs difficult. Week three recovery was slower. Head seemed a little clearer than EC, bones though more achy. I passed through with minimum pain killers and masses of rest. I was on super hypo with blood sugar in 20s...that was my biggest battle, so eyes were poorly. Two months post they recovered. But we are all different my dose was 15% reduced...63 years. Chat with chemo nurses if your worried, it doesnt have to be an emergency.

Hi, my chemo pushed me i to an early menopause which brings with it hot flushes. My are worse when i am tired.

I am nearly 3yrs post-chemo, FECT, and had peripheral neuropathy in both fingers and toes. Some fingers are still numb and so is my feet. I have nerve damage on balls of feet which Is painful but i dont let it curtail my life, i just know i will suffer next day.

Good luck with the rest of yourtreatment xx

I have just starting taxol only cycle. I had the cramping in the lower abdomen too. I was told my calcium level was low. Take calcium tabs 2 x per day. Helped with stomach cramping. Will get 2nd cycle of taxol on Tuesday. Stay strong!
