Anyone on Zometa?

Had a good appointment with Dr Friday. My wbc was 3.1!! Don't have to see him for 7 weeks due to my vacation!!😊I will be getting Zometa for my bones in June. I was told this is going to be a 15 minute iv twice a year for 5 yrs. Is anyone else doing this? What is it like? Any side effects from this? The plan is that in 5 yrs my bones should be back to normal, but with having to be on ibrance for the rest of my life I wonder how long my bones will stay normal. Such a roller coaster ride!

If you can skip the zometa It causes osteonecrosis of the jaw and one that sets in you are screwed. I lost the bottom of my jaw and all my teeth. Look into it before you start it and see if you want to take that risk. Good luck with whatever you do.
