Results of biopsy

Hey everyone I went for my results this morning and biopsy was fine but I have got periductal mastitis. Don’t quite know to much about it and how I have got it but she has put me on antibiotics now for 7 days which are really strong and I will struggle with them as have sensitive tummy. Got to go back next Friday for another scan and then she said they may want to do another biopsy which I’m not happy about as took me time to recover from this . I don’t want to go through it again . Has anyone here ever had this ? Or advise me . Thanks for all your support through this hard time . It’s been horrible 🙁

I'm really pleased that you've not got breast cancer, must be a big weight lifted from you. As to the problems you have got I've got no experience of this therefore not able to advise, but I hope you begin to feel better soon, enjoy your weekend xxxxx

Glad to hear your cancer free, putting up with a few more tests is a small price to pay, count yourself very lucky, lots of aren’t, good luck, and take care of yourself

Congratulations on being cancer free. I know it must be horrible not being able to say good bye to the clinic and having to undergo further treatment and tests. Hopefully it wont be too long before its all a distant memory. Caroline

Thanks Caroline . Yes I thought it would be over . But I’m on some really horrible antibiotics and they are further investigating as I’m not presenting symptoms of periductal mastitis so it’s all a bit weird x

I’m sure everyone will be pleased that you have such good news, but now you know you don’t have breast cancer it may be better for you to post in the Women’s Health community where there may be women who have had similar to you ? This forum is really for breast cancer , and the issues surrounding those who have it are totally different to your issues and the treatments will be very, very different, whereas the Women’s health community is more general?
