Has anybody had massage help with neuropathy? After 10 rounds with taxol, I suddenly got neuropathy in my hands about 4 days before my next treatment. I had happened to schedule a massage on the same day as my next chemo, and since then it has been completely gone. Coincidence or am I on to something?
Thanks for your input!

I've heard it can be a side effect ( sigh...) of chemo. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if massage relieved it. I don't know, but it makes sense to me. Keep it up if it feels good!
I too had a really bad reaction to the taxol, including neuropathy in the hands and feet, which i still have and its been over a year since my chemo finished. However, i have reflexology once a fortnight and absolutely swear by it! i am convinced that my feet would be much worse if i had not had it - i get cramp in them now at times which i can feel: i know it sounds stupid but i take that as a sign of improvement!! my chiropodist also thinks it has improved! good luck with your journey - i hope you feel better very soon! xx
I am glad that it is working for you, and I absolutely don't think it is silly to count getting cramps as improvement! We have to count our wins wherever we can find them.
