Incomplete abortion

My Girlfriend had a medicated abortion about 18 days ago, she had been menstruating from that day till 2 days ago.. Through out the period she has been experiencing abdominal pains, nausea and a foul smell from the vagina.. The signs of abdominal pains, fatigue headaches faded after she stopped her period. But the foul smell is still there. Does that mean could she be having some left over products inside the uterus?? Or just an infection?

I would advise her to go to visit a doctor or clinic to get checked over, I don't think anyone here has medical knowledge and won't be able to offer any diagnosis of her problem. Good luck
